This was years ago, but I remember it like it was yesterday.
I had been working on remodeling our kitchen, and let myself go because I told myself I didn’t have time to get in my workouts or eat healthy – it’s called “fast food” for a reason, right?
And the info-mercial was scratching me right where I itched…
…”Get ripped in 90 days”
…”Watch as the pounds effortlessly fall off the scale”
…”Melt stubborn belly fat”

In just a few months, I’d have a Men’s Health cover body.
But then…
…like a needle on a record, my motivation came to a screeching halt…like it had so many times in the past.
The tank was empty.
And without my initial shot of motivation, I couldn’t push through that:
The workouts weren’t fun.
The workouts took a long time.
The nutrition guide was impossible to follow.
So, I quit.
I made THE classic mistake.
Because I wanted to lose weight so quickly, I committed the #1 fitness sin...
